The American Legion, Elks, Veterans Memorial, and Freemasons of Cornish and Lebanon New Hampshire gathered together today to recommit the graves of some of those union soldiers who served with distinction in the Civil War. Many others attended this event, including Abraham Lincoln himself (well sort of.)

After a short precession around the graveyard led by the reenactors, we stood at attention as the commitment ceremony unfolded; ending with a poignant rendition of taps.
After the ceremony, much of the procession marched out, led in fine military fashion by the reenactors.
Respects paid, we left those soldier to rest in peace once more.
